We played a concert/workshop for a retiring principal in a lovely little school in Araglin. The students were fantastic singers and so well behaved and friendly. Below are the comments from the teacher who invited us.
We organised Scarlet String Duo to play for a music workshop/ retirement function in our school. Ilse and Lesya were very professional in the lead up to the recital and took on board all suggestions. They were punctual and professional in every way and once the first phrase of ‘He’s a pirate’ could be heard resonating throughout the school, we knew the recital was going to be a most memorable and inspirational experience for pupils and adults alike. The audience were entertained and engaged throughout the recital. The workshop element of the recital left a lasting impression on both pupils and teachers. Our audience were enthralled by the stories of the players’ own illustrious careers and the various opportunities that had arisen as a result of their dedication and commitment to their work. Sincere thanks from all of us for making the day so special for our pupils and retiring principal.
