Perfect Music for a Perfect Day

Coolagown, Fermoy

Scarlet String Quartet played with Caroline Fraher, singer, for this wedding in Coolagown Church.

There is a painting of the Last Supper above the altar, which was painted by a man from Youghal who was working for a kitchen fitters company. Apparently Judas on the right (without halo) is the face of his boss…

Here we are enjoying the acoustics…

We played

Processional- Canon -Pachelbel (string quartet)

Candles- Gabriel’s Oboe- Morricone (S Q)

Psalm- Mo Ghrá thú ( Caroline Fraher)

Alleluia- (C F) one on Caroline’s website

Lighting of main candle- When Love is found (CF)

Offertory: Set your heart on the higher gifts (CF)

Sign of Peace: Give me your hand – O Catháin (S Q)

Communion-

1. Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring- Bach ( S Q)

2. Panis Angelicus (C F)

Signing of the Register-

1. Wherever you go (C F)

2. La Rejouissance – Handel- (S Q)

Recessional- Trumpet Voluntary- Jeremiah Clarke- (S Q)
