Hi Ilse,
Sorry I didn’t get to meet you after the wedding and thank you in person but I just wanted to say how great you and the rest of the Quartet were on the 28th of September.
So many people came up to us during the day and complimented your playing and choice of music.
You really added that extra touch to our day and I’m sure you thought I was a crazy person sitting laughing away like a bold school girl at the top of the church. I loved all the music you played and thanks for playing the few we asked for too. Loved the choice for walking up the aisle (well think I kinda skipped up-not very in sync with you guys ) but it was really lovely.
Thanks again and I’m sure I will hear you playing at many more events in the future .

Dear Scarlet Strings,
I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful music you played at my wedding, and at the reception. Despite being in a totally daze by the whole day, I remember it clearly. The cavaleria rusticana was absolutely stunning. I don’t think you got to play Clare du Lune, as the priest told us to light the candles immediately, so thank you for improvising on the timing there!!
It was really stunning and Sharon sang so beautifully.

Just a quick mail to say thanks a million for everything on our wedding day Feb 8th 2008. The music was just amazingly beautiful from start to finish. So sorry I didn’t get a chance to thank you in person but it truly was beautiful. It really meant a lot that you played Masterplan for us, you really did a fantastic job on it and all our guests have commented about that song and how brilliant you were. We organised Scarlet String Duo to play for a music workshop/ retirement function in our school. Ilse and Lesya were very professional in the lead up to the recital and took on board all suggestions. They were punctual and professional in every way and once the first phrase of ‘He’s a pirate’ could be heard resonating throughout the school, we knew the recital was going to be a most memorable and inspirational experience for pupils and adults alike. The audience were entertained and engaged throughout the recital. The workshop element of the recital left a lasting impression on both pupils and teachers. Our audience were enthralled by the stories of the players’ own illustrious careers and the various opportunities that had arisen as a result of their dedication and commitment to their work. Sincere thanks from all of us for making the day so special for our pupils and retiring principal.
